A light 5, can be used as both a bigger trout spey and a light summer steelhead rod. Perfect for folks that want to try both, or fish rivers with half pounders and smaller adults. A bit deeper loading that most of the other Original Series rods, the 5120 is less intimidating for two handed newbies.
Fishery Examples: Lower Sac, Trinity, Yakima, Yuba, Missouri, Lower Yellowstone, Bow, Silvers in AK, klamath/rogue for half pounder fishing with the occasional adult.
