Store Policy

Service

Providing outstanding customer service is our primary goal and we want to make sure you are pleased with the attention and service you receive from our shop, both in-store and online. We will do our utmost to ensure that you are provided with the widest possible selection of equipment and materials, every day of the year.

Our Guarantee

We personally guarantee that every item in our shop and on our website will meet with your full satisfaction. If, for any reason, you are not fully satisfied, return the item in original condition, within 30 days of receipt and a full refund will be issued. For online orders, please enclose a note with the reason for the return.

Orders

We strive to process your order in the quickest possible fashion. Our goal is to ship all in-stock merchandise within 24 hours of receipt of your order. While it is impossible to stock every item listed on our website, we do carry a robust inventory. In the event that your items have to be back-ordered please be advised that back-orders are placed with our vendors 2-3 times per week. Delays may occur in the event that our vendors do not have the products in stock. Covid -19 has impacted the supply chain with our vendors causing shortages of the most common of products. We will make every effort to notify you of any back-orders in the most timely manner possible. Generally your back-orders will ship without additional shipping charges. Exceptions may occur.

Inventory

We have over 50,000 items listed on our website. While it is not feasible for us to inventory all of our listed items, we do try to keep a healthy inventory of the better selling products. We order from most of our vendors twice a week. Fly tying product are often ordered three times a week. Hooks (all brands) are often difficult to keep a consistent inventory on. This is due to gaps in our vendors inventory due to the nature of the hook business. Some of our hook manufacturers are small cottage industries. This is also true of some fly tying materials. Please be assured that we are doing our best to receive these products and will continue to order from vendors until we receive the product. Please be advised that it is often difficult for our fly tying materials vendors to provide us with estimated delivery for a variety of reasons. It is just the nature of this business. Whiting Farms products can often be delayed. Whiting harvests their birds 2 or 3 times per year which can create lengthy gaps in availability. There is also very limited information provided as to what color cape or saddle will be available and at what time. This can be due to the birds growth among other factors. This is of not of any fault of Whiting Farms and is just the nature of the bird business. Please note that we are pleased to accommodate the expediting of products that we don't have in stock and you need quickly.

Back Orders and Out of Stock Items

We try to maintain a robust inventory of most items listed online. If a situation arises where we are unable to fill your entire order, you will be notified to discuss the order status. We can ship in stock items immediately and back ordered items when they all arrive, or hold your order until it is complete and ship at that time. Orders with back ordered items will NOT be charged shipping charges a second time, unless it is an international order. All back orders are given priority when new merchandise arrives at our shop, so your wait should be a short one, usually 7-14 days. Generally, no back orders will be held longer than 30 days and back orders of less than $10 will be canceled.

Ordering Information

Internet Orders (www.bobmarriotts.com) Order from our secure online website. There are several ways to process your order. A secure online transaction is the fastest method and requires the use of a major credit card or Paypal. Or, your order can be provided in a printable format, which you can add payment information to and fax or mail in. You can also use this printed copy to call in your order.

Phone Orders

For your convenience, we have a toll-free number serving the U.S. For orders, call (800) 535-6633. Please have your order and payment information ready when you call. Orders will be shipped immediately upon payment approval.

Payment Methods

We accept all major credit cards and Paypal. To charge your order to American Express, Visa, MasterCard or Discover, please provide account number, expiration date, CVV2, and billing address. Bank drafts, money orders, personal checks and cash are also acceptable forms of payment. We cannot, however, be held responsible for cash payments sent by mail. Any original gift certificates, vouchers, and coupons you have must accompany your order to receive credit. Faxed copies are not accepted. Gift certificates cannot be redeemed for cash. For international orders, Paypal is our preferred method of payment. Sorry, no open accounts, no billing, no C.O.D.s.

Shipping Information

Domestic orders are shipped via Federal Express Ground or USPS, unless otherwise specified. Expedited shipments are sent by Federal Express or USPS priority services at the discretion of Bob Marriott’s Flyfishing Store. Orders over $100 receive free ground shipping, for orders less than $100, the rates are as follows: Up to $24.99 the charge will $3.95 / $25.00 to $49.99 the charge will be $6.95 / $50.00 to $99.99 the charge will be $8.95 / Over $100.00 the shipping is free UNLESS it is a sale or trade-in item. In these situations you will be notified of the "Actual" (our cost - no upcharge) shipping charge. An item deemed as heavy or oversized by the shipping carrier will require an "actual" shipping charge. In the event the oversized/heavy item is over $100 you will be given a $8.95 credit which will be applied to the “actual” shipping charge. You will be notified if your order requires additional shipping charges to be paid. These additional shipping charges (if any) will not appear on your online order. Alaska and Hawaii - Free ground shipping does not apply to orders shipping to Alaska and Hawaii. Shipments to Alaska and Hawaii will be charged actual shipping charges. This means you are charged only the actual cost we incur to ship your order. Shipping charges will be calculated at the time your order is packaged for shipment. You will be notified of these charges and a separate payment for shipping charges will be requested. Shipping charges to Alaska and Hawaii are not included at the time your order is placed online. Please note, sale / trade-in items do not qualify for free shipping or Free California Sales Tax (Rods, Reels, Waders, Boots) and actual shipping charges will apply. Alaska and Hawaii

Free ground shipping does not apply to orders shipping to Alaska and Hawaii. Shipments to Alaska and Hawaii will be charged actual shipping charges. This means you are charged only the actual cost we incur to ship your order. Shipping charges will be calculated at the time your order is packaged for shipment. You will be notified of these charges and a separate payment for shipping charges will be requested. Shipping charges to Alaska and Hawaii are not included at the time your order is placed online. (Just remember, Outlet items do not qualify for free shipping or Free California Sales Tax and actual shipping charges will apply.) If you still have questions we are happy to help. Foreign Orders

We welcome the opportunity to assist fly fishers around the world! If you are an international client there are a few things you should know about our shop... Actual shipping charges are charged on all international shipments. This means you are charged only the actual cost we incur to ship your order. Shipping charges will be calculated at the time your order is packaged for shipment. You will be notified of these charges and a separate payment for shipping charges will be requested. International shipping charges are not included in your invoice at the time your order is placed online. You will be billed separately for shipping charges. We never mark up shipping charges to make profit. We also believe small international orders should not bear the same flat-rate shipping cost as large orders. Small orders will, at a minimum, be charged $23.95 for U.S. Priority Mail International charges. Many countries charge duties or taxes once a package arrives in customs. We have no control of these charges, and these charges (if any) are never included in our shipping charges. All foreign orders will be shipped via Federal Express, US Postal Service Express Mail International, or US Postal Service Priority Mail International. Each country has their own size restrictions for each method. Therefore, the size and value of your order will help us determine the most reliable method available. For example, a $1000 order would be shipped using Federal Express or USPS Express Mail International as these methods can be fully tracked and insured. We also prefer these methods because they have proven to be the fastest and most reliable in our past experience. A much smaller order may be shipped USPS Priority Mail International in order to keep shipping charges reasonable given the value of the order. The size and value of your order also determines shipping cost. For example, we are unable to ship packages over 42 inches in length to Australia via either US Postal Service method. Therefore packages of this length must be shipped via Federal Express to Australia. All foreign orders require a phone number. Not all animal products are able to be shipped outside of the United States. If you order an animal product that we are unable to ship to your home country we will notify you and a refund for that product will be granted. If you still have questions we are happy to help. Promotions and Discounts

Product specials, coupons, manufacturer promotions, and discounts cannot be combined with other offers. California sales tax paid on rods, reels, waders, and boots over $100 cannot be combined with any other discount.

Defective Merchandise

Most manufacturers will not allow us to enforce their warranty programs. All defective merchandise must be returned to the manufacturer for their inspection. We can only serve as the shipping agent in these matters and are happy to assist.

Repairs

As with our defective merchandise policy, we can only serve as the shipping agent where repairs are concerned. We cannot determine fault, enforce warranties or control the timeliness of repairs. Payment information must accompany all repairs.

Returns

Returns are gladly accepted within 30 days of purchase. Full refunds will be giving with original store receipt. Returns without a receipt will be given store credit. Please return merchandise unused and in its original packaging. All sales are final on sale and discontinued items. Note: Flies, feathers, leaders, tippets, outlet items, book, video (DVD's) and software sales are final with the exception of defective merchandise.
